PREVIEW: The Murdér Express, Pedley Street Station

Funicular Productions bring The Murdér Express back to Pedley Street Station.

Back by popular demand, guests are invited to board The Murdér Express and enjoy a four-course meal curated by MasterChef 2016 winner, Jane Devonshire, thanks to Funicular Productions.

Taking place from the 11th January until the 31st March, the immersive dining company are set to transport passengers back to the 19th century to enjoy cocktails at the seven sins bar before then boarding The Murdér Express heading towards  the fictional town of Murdér in France.

While on the train, guests will be enjoying a four course meal that caters for all dietary requirements. The menu includes Edamame Bean Bruschetta, fragrant Roasted Garam Masala Cauliflower, succulent Lamb Three Ways with Olive, Tomato and Harissa, Brocolli Steak infused with Tahini, Sesame and Chilli, and Apricot and Ginger Polenta Cake.

During the journey, the guests will be joined by a variety of characters including East End costermonger, a music hall star, a widow in search of adventure and a local antique dealer – who knows what their motives for boarding the train are!

Funicular Productions specialise in creating unique experiences. Co-founded by entrepreneur, actor and scriptwriter Craig Wilkinson and production director Ed Borgnis, the company has years of experience of bringing events and theatre to life all over the world.

This is the second time that ‘The Murdér Express’ will be departing from Pedley Street Station, following the spooky mystery ‘Journey To The Underworld’ and the festive adventure ‘The Greatest Snowman’.

The Murdér Express opens on the 11th January and will run until the 31st March.
