NEWS: Six Now Booking at the Arts Theatre Until 2020

The hugely successful show has confirmed its extending its run at  the Arts Theatre until the January 2020.

Due to popular demand, it has been confirmed that Six will play at the Arts Theatre until the 5th January 2020.

The news comes as details of the first US production have been announced to take place at the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre from May 14th to the 30th June 2019.  

Six returns to the Arts Theatre this week following a short UK tour and its previous run at the theatre. The show has also been nominated for six WhatsOnStage Awards including Best Musical, Best Off West End Production, Best Original Cast Recording, Best Choreography, Best Lighting Design and Best Costume Design.

Divorced. Beheaded. Live in concert. From Tudor Queens to Pop Princesses, the six wives of Henry VIII take to the mic to rewrite ‘Her-story’. Following a sell-out UK tour, hit pop-concert musical SIX returns to the Arts Theatre.

The musical was written by recent Cambridge graduates Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss and its return to London sees the full, original West End cast who were named the Best Ensemble in a Play or Musical at the 2018 BroadwayWorld Awards reprising their roles.

The cast includes: Jarneia Richard-Noel (Catherine of Aragon), Millie O’Connell (Anne Boleyn), Natalie Paris (Jane Seymour), Alexia McIntosh (Anna of Cleves), Aimie Atkinson (Katherine Howard),Maiya Quansah-Breed (Catherine Parr)and Grace Mouat (alternate Jane Seymour/Katherine Howard and Dance Captain). They are joined in the production by two additional alternates: Vicki Manser (alternate Anne Boleyn & Anna of Cleves) and Courtney Stapleton (alternate Catherine of Aragon & Catherine Parr).

The production is directed by  Lucy Moss and Jamie Armitage with choreography by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille. The set design is by Emma Bailey, costume design by Gabriella Slade, lighting design by Tim Deiling and sound design by Paul Gatehouse.
