The Tom Hardy film reaches the top spot in this week’s film chart – based on digital downloads only.
Topping this week’s chart is Tom Hardy’s film Venom. Based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, the film has outsold 2018’s biggest film and this week’s Number two The Greatest Showman by 4,000 units – based on digital downloads only.
Meanwhile, this week’s Official Film chart sees Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again move to third place, just ahead of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which has jumped up from ten slots to claim the number four position.
Keeping steady at number five is King of Thieves, starring Michael Caine and is based on the true story of a bunch of thieves who pull of a jewellery heist in London.
This week’s chart also sees Deadpool 2 jumping up thirteen places to claim the number six spot, with BlacKkKlansman entering the top ten of the chart for the first time at number seven.
At number eight, Dwayne Johnson’s Skyscraper has jumped up twelve positions, with The House with a Clock in its Walls moving down from the number one position last week to number nine this week.
Finally, completing the top ten this week is the Darkest Hour, starring Gary Oldman.
