PREVIEW: The Murdér Express: Jewel of the Empire, Pedley Street Station

Funicular Productions latest experience will see guests travelling back in time to 1937 to indulge in a four-course meal crafted by chef Laurence Henry.

Following on from the successful second run of The Murdér Express, Funicular Productions have announced a whole new adventure set on London’s favourite (and most crime-ridden!) train.

The Murdér Express: Jewel of the Empire will see guests joining London’s wealthiest socialites for an evening of glitz, glamour, and fine dining, all in the company of the world’s largest cut diamond.

The year is 1937 and Europe is in upheaval. Conflict continues to rage in Spain and another World War looms, but the beating of the war drums is not to be heard on the glamorous Murdér Express, where the wealthiest socialites and most successful celebrities converge for luxury travel and indulgent dining between London and the Southern French town of Murdér. When the largest cut diamond in the world is stolen and murder strikes, everyone becomes a suspect. Guests must pull up their velvet sleeves, find the culprit and recover the Jewel of the Empire before the train reaches its destination and they escape forever.

MasterChef: The Professionals 2018 champion Laurence Henry will create a special four course meal for guests to enjoy and suitable for all dietary requirements. He has worked under some of the biggest and best known names in the food industry including the Michelin-starred Gordon Ramsay and Jason Atherton.
