PREVIEW: Kindred, Bradmore House, Queen Caroline St, London

The new members club launches to help those who want to connect with other people.

Based in a three floor, Grade II listed building in the heart of Hammersmith, Kindred is a brand new members club that wants to encourage people to get to know each other and share their ideas.

The club will be opening its doors for non-members for one weekend only on the 23rd and 24th March to give an insight into how the club places human connection right at the centre of what it is about.

With many people in the UK saying that they are always or often lonely, Kindred seeks to offer a place where people can communicate in person – both in a professional and personal basis.

The Grade II listed building has been redesigned by East London-based architect, Studioshaw to offer an all-day café and bar on the ground floor as well as spaces for co-working, events and dining on the first and top floors.

On top of the work and social spaces, Kindred offers a wide range of activities in its event calendar including everything from the speaker supper club series and breakfast networking, to wellness classes and piano sing-a-longs. Other events can include live music, happy hour and themed nights to help members build friendships and connections.

Opening its doors to the community for one weekend on the 23rd-24th March, guests will be treated to morning yoga, intuitive art, mindful kung fu, cocktail masterclasses, wine tasting, supper clubs, family hackathons, as well as with 50% off the food menu for the weekend, it is a chance for the local community to explore the space and connect with others.

Meanwhile, in terms of food Kindred’s Head Chef, Romulo Silva’s menu includes dishes such as West Sussex Porchetta with candied apples and Vegan Butternut Squash Wellington with rainbow chard, to be shared, amongst friends and neighbours alike on large feasting tables. Less of an intimate affair – instead built around community spirit, the dining experience offers much more than just great food, wrapped up in an intimate setting enhanced by a roaring fire and live music.

Anna Anderson, Co-Founder and Director of Kindred, said:“We recognise community means something different to everyone, so we’re so excited to introduce a space that reimagines what community could be like in a modern city for modern people; a place where you can spend your whole day, meet new people, have interesting conversations and eat great food. If we’re doing our job right, Kindred will feel like a home away from home.”

Full Kindred Memberships are £90 per month for a limited time, which includes all day access, exclusive events, use of co-working spaces, discounted meeting rooms, private dining rooms, and extended happy hour. Kindred Social Memberships (access after 6pm and on weekends) is currently free for a limited time only.
