The current UK tour cast are set to join the West End production from the 25th June.

Mischief Theatre have confirmed that the UK tour cast will be joining the West End production of the Olivier nominated The Comedy About a Bank Robbery later this month.

Having recently announced that it is booking at the Criterion Theatre until May 2020, the production’s new cast is set to include: Sean Carey (Sam Monaghan), David Coomber(Neil Cooper), Julia Frith (Caprice Freeboys), George Hannigan (Everyone Else) Liam Jeavons (Mitch Ruscitti), Damian Lynch (Robin Freeboys), Killian Macardle (Officer Randal Chuck), Jon Trenchard (Warren Slax) and Ashley Tucker (Ruth Monaghan). Completing the company are understudies Julie Cullen, Charlotte Duffy, Tom Hopcroft, Ross Virgo and Eddy Westbury.

Summer 1958. Minneapolis City Bank has been entrusted with a priceless diamond. An escaped convict is dead set on pocketing the gem with the help of his screwball sidekick, trickster girlfriend… and the maintenance man. With mistaken identities, love triangles and hidden agendas, even the most reputable can’t be trusted. In a town where everyone’s a crook, who will end up bagging the jewel?

Created by Mischief Theatre, The Comedy About a Bank Robbery was written by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields. The production is directed by Mark Bell and Nancy Zamit for Mischief Theatre with set design by David Farley and lighting design by David Howe.
