The Olivier Award nominated show has announced it is extending its run in London by six months.

It has been confirmed that Toby Marlowe and Lucy Moss’s musical based on the lives of Henry VIII’s wives is now booking at the Arts Theatre until the 5th July 2020.

With tickets on sale now for the new booking period, it has also been announced that Millie O’Connell and Maiya Quansah Breed’s final performance will be Sunday October 13th. Courtney Bowman and Danielle Steers take over the roles of Anne Boleyn and Catherine Parr from Tuesday October 15th, joining original cast members Jarneia Richard-Noel (Catherine of Aragon), Natalie Paris (Jane Seymour), Alexia McIntosh (Anna of Cleves) and Aimie Atkinson (Katherine Howard).

Meanwhile, from the 19th July, Collette Guitart will join the Arts company as a Dance Captain/Understudy. Shekinah Macfarlane will also join as Alternate Catherine of Aragon and Anna of Cleves from July through to October 2019.

From Tudor Queens to Pop Princesses, the six wives of Henry VIII take to the mic to tell their tales, remixing five hundred years of historical heartbreak into a 75-minute celebration of 21st century girl power. These Queens may have green sleeves but their lipstick is rebellious red.

The production is directed by Lucy Moss and Jamie Armitage, with choreography by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille. The creative team also includes: Set Design by Emma Bailey, Costume Design by Gabriella Slade, Lighting Design by Tim Deiling, Sound Design by Paul Gatehouse, Musical Orchestration by Tom Curran, Musical Supervisor Joe
Beighton, Associate Choreographer Freya Sands, Musical Director Katy Richardson and Associate Musical Director Arlene McNaught.
