Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain Part 4, Apollo Theatre: want to take your children along to something fun and educational? Horrible Histories is back in London this August and filled with a whole bunch of historical characters brought back to life by two actors. The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Iris Theatre, St Paul’s Church, Covent Garden: for their latest production in their annual summer season at St Paul’s Church, Iris Theatre will present a new production based on Victor Hugo’s classic story. Evita, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre: one of the most eagerly anticipated productions to open this summer will open for previews from the 2nd August. Directed by Jamie Lloyd, the cast is set to include: Samantha Pauly as Eva Peron, Ektor Rivera as Juan Peron, Trent Saunders as Che and Frances Mayli McCann as The Mistress.

Queen of the Mist, Charing Cross Theatre: transferring to the Charing Cross Theatre following a successful run at the Jack Studio Theatre earlier this year, Pint of Wine’s Theatre Company’s acclaimed production of Michael John LaChiusa’s musical will play for a strictly limited season.

Showtune, Union Theatre: playing for a strictly limited run from the 7th to the 24th August, Showtune highlights music and lyrics by Jerry Herman including familiar tunes from Hello Dolly!, Mame and La Cage Aux Folles. Perfect for musical theatre fans.
