The musical will open for previews at the Longacre Theatre from the 20th September.

Following Off-Broadway and National tour runs, it has been confirmed that The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical will play at the Longacre Theatre for a limited season from the 20th September, officially opening on the 16th October.
Having made its debut in 2017 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre Off-Broadway, the musical was nominated for three Drama Desk Awards before embarking on a national tour.
The Lightning Thief features a Drama Desk-nominated book by Joe Tracz , music and lyrics by Rob Rokicki and choreography by Patrick McCollum. This production is directed by Stephen Brackett, with set design by Lee Savage, costume design by Sydney Maresca, lighting design by David Lander, sound design by Ryan Rumery, puppet design by AchesonWalsh, fight direction by Rod Kinter and hair, wigs, and makeup design by Dave Bova.
As a son of Poseidon, Percy Jackson has newly discovered powers he can’t control, monsters on his trail, and is on a quest to find Zeus’ lightning bolt to prevent a war between the Greek gods.
Casting for the production will be announced soon.
The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical will play at the Longacre Theatre from the 20th September. Tickets will go on sale from the 21st August.
