It has been confirmed that the musical created by Barry Manilow and his longtime collaborator Bruce Sussman will be heading to New York in February 2020.

This production, which will be presented by the National Yiddish Theatre Floksbiene, tells the true story of the Comedian Harmonists, an ensemble of six talented young men in 1920s Germany who took the world by storm with their blend of close harmonies and uproarious stage antics, until their inclusion of Jewish singers put them on a collision course with history.

Presented in English, the musical will begin previews at the Museum of Jewish Heritage on the 11th February before officially opening on the 4th March.

Casting and creative team will be announced soon.

Harmony is finally being presented and I couldn’t be more thrilled,” Barry Manilow said in a statement. “I am very proud we have found a perfect home for this labor of love of over 20 years.”

Harmony will play at the Museum of Jewish Heritage from the 11th February until the 29th March 2020. For more information visit: https://www.harmonyanewmusical.com/
