Full casting has been confirmed for Rufus Norris’s production of Kander and Ebb’s musical, embarking on a UK tour from the 28th August.

Opening at the Bromley Churchill Theatre on the 28th August, full casting for the 2019 UK tour of Rufus Norris’s production has been announced. Joining the previously confirmed John Partridge as Emcee, Kara Lily Hayworth as Sally Bowles, Anita Harris as Fraulein Schneider will be: Basienka Blake (Casualty) as Fraulein Kost, Charles Hagerty (The Bodyguard, West End) as Cliff Bradshaw, James Paterson (The Phantom Of The Opera, West End) as Herr Schultz and Nick Tizzard (Doc Martin) as Ernst Ludwig.
Meanwhile, the ensemble for the production includes: Gemma Archer, Joseph Dockree, Francis Foreman, Sophie Hirst, Mary Hodgkinson, Sara Morley, Hannah Nicholas, Oliver Roll, Ben Rutter, Catherine Saunders and Tom Scanlon.

As well as being directed by Rufus Norris, the production features designs by Katrina Lindsay and choreography by Javier du Frutos.
Since premiering on Broadway and the release of the film starring Liza Minnelli and Joel Grey, the musical has won numerous awards including eight Oscars, seven BAFTAs and 13 Tonys. It includes the iconic songs ‘Money Makes the World Go Round’, ‘Maybe This Time’ and ‘Cabaret’.
The UK tour will open at Bromley’s Churchill Theatre on the 28th August before travelling to: Wolverhampton, Nottingham, Crawley, Chester, Dublin, Belfast, Leicester, Shrewsbury, Hull, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Malvern, Peterborough, Sunderland, Oxford, Wimbledon, Manchester, Leeds, Canterbury, Sheffield, Cardiff and Stoke – with further venues and dates yet to be announced.
