The musical will be heading to London’s Piccadilly Theatre from February 2020, having closed on Broadway last month.

Based on the popular 1990’s film, it has been confirmed that Pretty Woman the Musical will be heading to London’s Piccadilly Theatre from the 14th February 2020.

The musical transfers to London following a run at the Nederlander Theatre in New York starring Samantha Barks (Les Misérables) as Vivian Ward, alongside Andy Karl (Groundhog Day) as Edward Lewis. Casting for the London production has yet to be announced.

Pretty Woman the Musical is directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde). It features an original score Grammy Award-winner Bryan Adams alongside long-term writing partner Jim Vallance, with a book by Garry Marshall and the film’s screenwriter JF Lawton.

The creative team for the production also includes: scenic design by David Rockwell, costume design by Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Kenneth Posner and Philip S Rosenberg, sound design by John Shivers, hair design by Josh Marquette, and music supervision, arrangements and orchestrations by Will Van Dyke.

Pretty Woman the Musical will open for previews on the 14th February 2020 at the Piccadilly Theatre. To access priority access tickets click here.
