Laurence Connor’s new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s musical will return to the London Palladium next Summer.

Michael Harrison and The Really Useful Group have confirmed that the musical will return to the West End next Summer, with performances beginning at the London Palladium from the 2nd July.

Laurence Connor’s production originally opened in London in July, starring Sheridan Smith as the Narrator, Jason Donovan as Pharaoh and newcomer Jac Yarrow in the title role.

Originally released as a concept album in 1969, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat has since gone on to become a popular family musical, featuring songs such as ‘Go Go Go Joseph’ and ‘Any Dream Will Do’.

As well as being directed by Laurence Connor, the production features choreography by  JoAnn M Hunter, design by Morgan Large, lighting from Ben Cracknell and sound from Gareth Owen. Casting and full creative team for the 2020 revival has yet to be announced.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will play at the London Palladium from the 2nd July until the 6th September.
