Full casting has been announced for the Young Vic’s production, directed by Young Vic Genesis Fellow and Associate Director Nadia Latif .
The production, which opens for previews at the Young Vic Theatre from the 28th November, is set to star: Naana Agyei-Ampadu, Donna Banya, David Dawson, Julie Dray, Nicola Hughes, Matthew Needham, Rhashan Stoneand Esther Smith.
It’s Grandma’s birthday and the Frasier family have gathered to celebrate. Beverly just wants everything to run smoothly, but Tyrone has missed his flight, Keisha is freaking out about college and Grandma has locked herself in the bathroom.
Written by Jackie Sibblies Drury, Fairview is being performed in London following a run in New York. It won the 2019 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize for female playwrights.
As well as being directed by Nadia Latif, the creative team for the production includes: design by Tom Scutt, lighting design by Jessica Hung Han Yun, sound design and compositionby Xana and choreography by Malik Nashad Sharpe.
Fairview will play at the Young Vic Theatre from the 28th November until the 18th January.
