Jack Thorne’s adaptation of the classic story will return to the Old Vic Theatre from the 23rd November.

Following successful runs the last couple of years, Jack Thorne’s stage adaptation of A Christmas Carol is set to return to the Old Vic Theatre, this time led by Paterson Joseph in the role of Ebenezer Scrooge.

Directed by Matthew Warchus, the production’s revival is also set to star Rebecca Trehearn, Andrew Langtree, Maria Omakinwa, Gloria Onitiri, Nick Hart, Myra McFadyen, Steven Miller, James Staddon, Samuel Townsend, Steven Miller, Fred Haig, Hollie Edwin, Kwêsi Edman and Melissa Allan. Meanwhile, Rayhaan Kufuor-Gray, Lara Mehmet, Lenny Rush and Eleanor Stollery will be sharing the role of Tiny Tim.

Matthew Warchus’ big-hearted, smash hit production of Charles Dickens’ immortal classic returns to The Old Vic , joyously adapted for the stage by Jack Thorne (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) and starring Paterson Joseph(Peep Show, Babylon) as Ebenezer Scrooge. The Old Vic’s A Christmas Carol fills the auditorium to the brim with mince pies, music and merriment. A unique staging immerses the audience in this uplifting story.

As well as being directed by Matthew Warchus, the creative team for the production includes: set and costumes by Rob Howell, with composition and arrangement by Christopher Nightingale, lighting by Hugh Vanstone, sound by Simon Baker, movement by Lizzi Gee, casting by Jessica Ronane and associate direction by Joe Austin and Josh Seymour.
