The first images of the cast for the New Victoria Theatre’s 2019 pantomime have been released…
The New Victoria Theatre in Woking have launched their 2019 pantomime production of Aladdin which is set to star former Strictly Come Dancing professional Brendan Cole, hilarious funny man Bobby Davro, CBBC star Mischa Eckersley, and newly announced Aladdin, Pearce Barro.
The cast, which is completed by pantomime dame David Phipps Davis and veteran ventriloquist Dawson Chance, arrived in Woking on Friday to help launch the pantomime which begins performances on the 6th December.
Simon Thomsett, Theatre Director at the New Victoria Theatre, said “This is going to be one spectacular Christmas in Woking; we’re over the Aladdin moon to be working with last year’s production team for this year’s extravaganza which is already shaping up to be another record breaking pantomime season. One thing we can be sure of is that it’s going to be a lot of fun with Brendan Cole taking the lead and Bobby Davro, whose pantomime performances are legendary. We have a brilliant supporting cast to tell the classic tale of Aladdin and his magic lamp with Princess Jasmine as CBBC’s Mischa Eckersley. We can’t wait for this magic carpet ride of a seasonal treat.”
Featuring a wish-granting genie, an evil sorcerer and the timeless tale of the Twankey family, tickets are already on sale and selling fast, so audiences should hop aboard their flying carpets and head to the New Victoria Theatre to ensure they don’t miss this year’s must-see, genie-us Woking panto!
Aladdin will play at the New Victoria Theatre from the 6th December until the 5th January 2020.
