Rehearsal images have been released for Charlotte Westenra’s production, playing at the Chiswick Playhouse from the 30th October.
The first production in Chiswick Playhouse’s (formerly the Tabard Theatre) first season is the UK premiere of the Off-Broadway musical featuring a book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro and music by Jimmy Roberts.
This UK premiere production is set to star: George Rae (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and The Lion King, West End) and Dominic Hodson (War Horse and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, West End), Laura Johnson (Hair 50th Anniversary, The Vaults and Hope Mill Theatre) and Naomi Slights (Mamma Mia, West End).
Following the joys and tribulations of first dates, first loves, marriages, babies, in-laws, and growing old together, this hilarious and poignant show is the second-longest running Off-Broadway musical of all time, playing over 5,000 performances. Featuring songs including A Stud And A Babe, Single Man Drought and Always A Bridesmaid, this brilliant new version is now presented to a UK audience for the very first time.
The UK premiere production is set to include choreography by Steven Harris, musical direction by Stuart Pedlar and designs by Verity Johnson.
I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change will play at the Chiswick Playhouse from the 30th October until the 30th November.
