The musical, featuring music by George Stiles and lyrics by Anthony Drewe, will begin performances at the Charing Cross Theatre from the 24th October.
Having originally premiered at the Soho Theatre in 2012, Stiles and Drewe’s musical update of the calssic fairytale Cinderella is heading back to London for a limited run from the 24th October.
Directed by Will Keith, the production is set to star Luke Bayer, Millie O’Connell, Lewis Asquith, Christopher Coleman, Ewan Gillies, Tori Hargreaves, Natalie Harman, Michaela Stern, with an ensemble cast featuring Jade Bailey, Thomas Ball, Luke Byrne, Ben Darcy, Laura Fulgenzi, Danny Lane, Savannah Reed and Melissa Rose.
When impoverished student Robbie becomes romantically involved with engaged London Mayoral candidate James Prince, his lap-dancing step-sisters become the least of his problems! James and Robbie’s worlds collide, forcing them to fight for their own fairy-tale ending.
As well as music and lyrics by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe, the musical features a book by Anthony Drewe and Elliot Davis. The production features choreography by Adam Haigh, set design by Justin Williams and musical direction by Sarah Morrison.
Soho Cinders will play at the Charing Cross Theatre from the 24th October until the 21st December.
