Hi Issy. For those not familiar with The Boy Friend what is it about? The clue is in the title – The Boy Friend or rather boyfriends … The show is set on The Riviera in the 1920’s with young ladies attending a finishing school.  There is a Ball and there is romance and a happy ending for all.

What was it that made you want to be involved with this production? The show is so full of light and love and an incredibly talented cast and creative team.

Why do you think now is the right time to revive this musical? This joyful show brings relief in our current climate of uncertainty and angst.

What can we expect musically from the show? Brilliance.

What did you first think of the story when you first read it? It felt like an escape to the sunshine.

What can we expect from the production? Not many empty seats, so book soon!!!

What are you most looking forward to about bringing The Boyfriend to the stage? Being a part of such a gloriously talented company and creative team.
