PREVIEW: Message in a Bottle, Peacock Theatre

The new dance theatre production featuring the hits of Sting will play at the Peacock Theatre from the 6th February.

Choreographed by Kate Prince, this new dance production set to the music of seven-time Grammy Award-winning artist Sting will make its World premiere at the Peacock Theatre before embarking on a UK and international tour.

A village alive with joyous celebrations is suddenly under siege. Everything changes forever. Determined and daring, three parted siblings step out on their own extraordinary adventures.

With a mix of exhilarating dance styles, dazzling footwork and breathtaking athleticism set to the music of Sting, Message In A Bottle tells a vital and uplifting story of humanity and hope.

Message in a Bottle is set to feature many of Sting’s best known songs including Roxanne, Every Breath You Take, Walking On The Moon, Fields Of Gold, Englishman In New York and Shape of My Heart.

The production is set to star dancers from ZooNation: The Kate Prince Company, including Lukas McFarlane as Leto – winner of Sky 1’s Got to Dance (2013); Tommy Franzen as Mati – BBC One’s So You Think You Can Dance (2010); and Natasha Gooden – Blak Whyte Gray (Boy Blue) – as Tana.

Meanwhile, the creative team for the production is set to include:  Alex Lacamoire (Music Supervisor and New Arrangements), music production and additional arrangements for the show by Martin Terefe, set design by Ben Stones, video design by Andrzej Goulding, costume design by Anna Fleischle, sound design by David McEwan and dramaturgy by Lolita Chakrabarti.
