The concert will take place on Sunday the 17th May.
It has been confirmed that The Love Story: 10th Anniversary Concert is set to star original cast members Michael D. Xavier (Oliver Barrett), Emma Williams (Jenny Cavilleri) and Peter Polycarpou (Phil Cavilleri) to celebrate the premiere of the musical at Chichester Festival Theatre in 2010.
The musical, based on Erich Segal’s iconic novel and the well known film, follows the story of wealthy Harvard student Oliver who falls for artistic Radcliffe student Jenny and follows the highs and lows that they go through in their lives. It features a score by Howard Goodall.
It was last seen in the West End in 2010 and was nominated Best Musical, Best Actor in a Musical (Xavier) and Best Actress in a Musical (Williams). Since then the show has been performed in the USA, Russia, The Netherlands, Belgium, Brazil, South Korea, Italy, Germany and Bolton’s Octagon Theatre.
This concert production is set to be directed by Samuel Hopkins with musical direction by Andrew Linnie, the team behind the acclaimed 2016 Cadogan Hall concert of Howard Goodhall’s The Hired Man, starring Jenna Russell and John Owen-Jones.
Love Story will play at the Cadogan Hall on the 17th May.
