Casting has been confirmed for the upcoming world premiere of E.V. Crowe’s Shoe Lady, playing at the Royal Court Theatre for a limited three week run. It has been announced the production is set to star Kayla Meikle and Katherine Parkinson.  

The news sees both Kayla Meikle and Katherine Parkinson return to the Royal Court Theatre, with Meikle having performed in ear for eye and Primetime and Parkinson in Cock and The Seagull.

Viv has lost a shoe. They’re her work shoes, her weekend shoes, her only pair of shoes, and she doesn’t know what to do.

The curtains are falling, her foot is bleeding, and she’s starting to feel a little overwhelmed. But all will be well in the world once she finds that missing shoe.

Playing at the Royal Court Theatre’s Jerwood Theatre Downstairs from the 4th March, the production is directed by Royal Court Artistic Director Vicky Featherstone. The creative team also includes: set design by Chloe Lamford, lighting design by Natasha Chivers, composition by Matthew Herbert, sound design by Tony Gayle and movement direction by Sasha Milavic Davies.

Shoe Lady will play at the Royal Court Theatre from the 4th to the 21st March.
