The celebratory concert will be showcased through The Shows Must Go On Youtube channel on the 1st May.

Recorded live at the Royal Albert Hall on the 7th April 1998, Andrew Lloyd Webber Royal Albert Hall Celebration took place to celebrate the his 50th birthday.     

Featuring performances from Sarah Brightman, Michael Ball, Glenn Close, Antonio Banderas, Elaine Paige, Kiri Te Kanawa and Boyzone, the concert pays a musical tribute to the composer.  

The concert features songs from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s best known shows including: Glenn Close’s performance of songs from Sunset Boulevard, Sarah Brightman performing a selection of songs from The Phantom of the Opera, Boyzone performing ‘No Matter What’ from Whistle Down the Wind.

Other featured performances in the concert include a rendition of ‘Memory’ from Elaine Paige, Donny Osmond performing songs from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Antonio Banderas performing songs from Evita.

This is the latest show to feature in The Shows Must Go On series and follows on from Love Never Dies, The Phantom of the Opera, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Jesus Christ Superstar.

Andrew Lloyd Webber Royal Albert Hall Celebration will be launched via The Shows Must Go On at 7pm on the 1st May and available to watch for 48 hours.
