A Doll’s House, Lyric Hammersmith: available for a day from 2.30pm on the 20th May only, the Lyric Hammersmith is sharing a recording of Henrik Ibsen’s play, adapted for this production by Tanika Gupta and directed by Artistic Director Rachel O’Riordan. The cast includes Anjana Vasan and Elliot Cowan.

The Midnight Gang, Chichester Festival Theatre: for those looking for something more family friendly, you might want to catch the stage adaptation David Walliams’s The Midnight Gang – available to watch until the 29th May. Catch up with our review here.

A Street Car Named Desire, National Theatre at Home: as part of its ongoing successful series, the National Theatre will be showcasing the Young Vic Theatre’s production of Tennessee Williams’s classic play. Available to watch from Thursday 21st May at 7pm for a week, the production stars Gillian Anderson, Vanessa Kirby and Ben Foster.

Wasted, Southwark Playhouse: while the theatre’s are closed, the Southwark Playhouse is currently streaming a couple of shows from its archives – including this bold rock musical based on the lives of the Bronte siblings. Find out what we thought here.

Timpson the Musical, Stockwell Playhouse : having proved popular at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and enjoyed a UK tour, this is a great chance to see this musical produced by Gigglemug comedy. Before you ask – yes it is about the history of the key cutters and shoe repair shop! Catch our review here.

Myth, The Other Palace: having only just discovered this on Youtube myself, I’m certainly adding this to my list to watch! Directed by Arlene Philips it is a modern retelling of the ancient Greek story of Orpheus and the underworld.

The Winter’s Tale, Shakespeare’s Globe: premiering today (18th May) and available to watch until the 31st May, the Shakespeare’s Globe presents the recording of its 2018 production of Shakespeare’s play, directed by Blanche McIntyre.
