Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical is set to embark on its first UK tour in 2021.

It has been announced that Andrew Lloyd Webber’s hit musical is looking for young musicians from across the country to star in the musical’s first UK tour.

Set to open at the Birmingham Alexandra Theatre on Saturday 13 February 2021, the production is looking to find singers, guitar players, bass guitar players, drummers and keyboardists, all aged between eight and 12 and under four foot ten. The musical is based on the hit film starring Jack Black and features a book by Julian Fellowes, and is directed by Laurence Connor with choreography by JoAnn M Hunter, set and costume designs by Anna Louizos, lighting design by Natasha Katz, sound design by Mick Potter, music supervision by John Rigby with Matt Smith as musical director.

Following its run in Birmingham, the production will then tour to: Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Wimbledon, Ipswich, Cardiff, Milton Keynes, Dublin, Leeds, Newcastle, Sheffield, Bournemouth, Manchester, Hull, Plymouth, Bristol, Stoke, Southampton, Eastbourne, Canterbury, Norwich, Wolverhampton, Woking, Dartford, Southend, Liverpool, Northampton, Llandudno, Sunderland and Oxford.
