BBC Three’s series continues tonight with a special The Lion King challenge.

Tonight at 7pm, as part of BBC Three’s show in which 10 makeup artists compete to become the UK’s best makeup artist, each of the competitors will be challenged by The Lion King’s  Associate Hair & Make-Up Designer, Ashley Roller, to recreate four iconic designs from the landmark musical.

The show is presented by Stacey Dooley, with Val Garland and Dominic Skinner on the judging panel.

This third episode of the series sees each of the contestants enter the world of theatrical make up as they attempt to impress Associate Hair & Make Up Designer, Ashley Roller. She sets them the challenge to precisely replicate the make-up from four of the main characters, meeting the theatre’s high standard. The winner of the challenge will then be able ork alongside Ashley and The Lion King’s prestigious make-up team for the evening’s performance. Those that fail to impress will pay the penalty by starting the next day’s Creative Brief in the red Face Off chairs.
