Producers Louis Hartshorn and Brian Hook have today announced that a reimagined version of the production will open its doors to guests this Autumn with new rules applied to keep in line with the current social distancing rules.

It was announced that the new rules will include audiences having to wear compulsory and fancy face coverings throughout the show. Meanwhile, capacity to the venue will also be reduced and temperature checks will be in place for audience members, performers and all other staff.

Other measures that will be put in place include deep cleaning the venue before and after every performance and certain scenes will be cut – including group charleston for 250 people.

The current plan for the production is for it to be opened on the 1st October, with a capacity of 90 people, with an additional 10 cast members and three crew members.

Talking about the news, producers Louis Hartshorn and Brian Hook said: “We want to offer something for people to look forward to following this extended lockdown. Our show has several inherent features that make it safer than a trip to the supermarket, so we’re embracing that and innovating. Hopefully, we can provide a blueprint for other productions to open safely and be part of the process of restoring employment and the economy of the creative industries.”

Immersive Great Gatsby will reopen on the 1st October, with tickets on sale now. For more information visit:
