The online concert will take place on the 27th June at 7.30pm.

The line up for The Barn Theatre’s latest online concert celebrating the work of Stephanie Jayne Amies and Teddy Clements has been announced, ahead of the concert taking place this weekend.

The concert, which will be hosted by Barn Theatre producer Jamie Chapman Dixon, is the fourth edition of the Barn Theatre in Cirencester’s virtual concert series, The Barn Presents, which celebrates the work of British musical theatre composers.

It has been confirmed that the line up for the concert is set to include: Josh Andrews (42nd Street), Marcus Ayton (Shrek), Adam Bailey (The Book of Mormon), Rebecca Bailey (Tomorrow, Maybe), Cameron Bernard Jones (Tina the Musical), Esmée Cook, Hiba Elchikhe (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie), Phoebe Fildes (Assassins, Once), Aidan Harkins (The Importance of Being Earnest), Lucy Ireland, Sam Otto (The State), Evie Rose Lane (Footloose, Just So), Jodie Steele (SIXHeathers) and  Bronte Tadman (Ben Hur).

As well as performances, the concert will also see the musical theatre writers chat with Barn Theatre producer Jamie Chapman Dixon about their careers so far, the creation process behind their songs and special appearances from some of the performers to discuss their experience rehearsing and recording from home.

The Barn Presents is part of the Barn Theatre’s Behind The Barn Door live streaming service. Set up in March, when the theatre had to temporarily close following government guidance, the service includes a full recording of the Barn Theatre’s critically-acclaimed 2019 Built by Barn production of William Shakespeare’s Henry V, directed by Hal Chambers and starring Aaron Sidwell (EastEndersWicked) and Lauren Samuels (Bend It Like BeckhamWe Will Rock You).

The Barn Presents: The Music of Amies & Clements will debut on the Barn Theatre’s Facebook and YouTube channels on 27th June  at 7:30pm.
