NEWS: Alice Fearn Announces Intermissions Series

The West End star has announced a new weekly series to help raise money to a different charity each week.

Alice Fearn (Come From Away, Wicked) has announced details of a brand new series of live concerts streamed from her own home and featuring a variety of West End guests.

Taking place every Friday night starting on the 17th July for four weeks, Intermissions will feature live performances and interviews. It will be a live-streamed experience, filmed with a three-camera setup and a small crew to keep things running, while adhering to social distancing rules.

The guests on the show will be a mixture of West End stars and recent graduates, with the first guests confirmed as  Shan Ako (Les MisérablesQueen of the NightX Factor National Tour 2019) on 17th July, and Sam Tutty (Dear Evan HansenOnce On This Island) on 24th July. More guests will be announced soon.

It was also announced that £1 from each ticket  sold will be donated to a charitable organisation, which will change each week – with the first week’s charity being Acting for Others.

Talking about the news, Alice Fearn said: “In a time where we can’t be doing what we love, I wanted to create a space where we could keep theatre alive. Intermissions is a live gig with a difference raising money for four important causes and featuring both West End stars and new graduates who are coming out into an industry that is currently quiet. I’ll be chatting to the guests and asking them how the lockdown experience has been, we’ll have live performances and so much more. The best part? It’s all from the comfort of my garden. Theatre is something that we all feel so strongly/passionately about so I’m thrilled we can make this work and can’t wait to get started on 17th July.”

Tickets for Intermissions will be available to buy from the 1st July. Visit: http://www.intermissionslive.com/
