PREVIEW: The Terrace, Alexandra Palace

Ally Pally’s south-facing terrace and grounds have been reimagined as one of London’s biggest beer gardens and is now welcoming visitors.

Having opened on the 4th July, Alexandra Palace’s The Terrace is offering  food, drinks and music from Fridays to Sundays throughout the Summer in a safe way and against the panoramic views of London.

Covering 1,500 square metres, The Terrace features five different street food vendors (Backstreet Diner, Steak It Easy, Last Night a Vegan Saved My Life, Wood Fired Pizzas and Waffle Float) as well as a bar serving everything from craft beers and wine through to cocktails and soft drinks.

For those planning on making a visit, the health and safety of both customers and the team has been taken into consideration. Alexandra Palace has put in place a number of measures  to ensure The Terrace follows strict hygiene protocols and allows for social distancing. This includes enhanced cleaning, plenty of hand sanitiser units and social distancing measures. The Terrace will also operate table service only for maximum group bookings of six people with all orders and payments going through an at-table-app ordering system to ensure there is no need for cash or contact with anyone outside of your household.

The opening hours for The Terrace is as follows: Fridays: 12 -10PM , Saturday & Sundays: 10 – 10PM. Tables can be booked for groups of between 2-6 people, with tickets costing £5 per person per session (sessions last between 1.5-2.5 hours).
