Images have been released of the cast and creative team as they prepare for the open air production at The Garden Theatre at The Eagle.

Beginning performances at the Garden Theatre in the newly refurbished beer garden of The Eagle from the 3rd August, the cast and creative team are now in rehearsals.

This first London fringe production to open since lockdown, this new production of the musical Fanny & Stella is directed by Steven Dexter. It features book and lyrics by Glenn Chandler and music by Charles Miller.

Meanwhile, the cast includes: Jed Berry as Ernest Boulton/Stella and Kane Verrall as Frederick William Park/Fanny, Kurt Kansley (Lord Arthur Clinton), Alex Lodge (Louis Charles Hurt), Mark Pearce (Mr Grimes) and Joaquin Pedro Valdes (John Safford Fiske). 

The musical is based on the true events in Victorian London, Ernest Boulton and Frederick William Park were two young men who, in 1871, were put on trial for dressing as women and conspiracy to commit sodomy.

The creative team for this new production includes: musical staging by Nick Winston, musical direction by Aaron Clingham, designs by David Shields and casting by Anne Vosser. It is produced by Peter Bull for LAMBCO Productions.

Fanny & Stella is the premiere production at The Garden Theatre in the newly refurbished beer garden of The Eagle, 349 Kennington Lane, Vauxhall, London. It will play from the 3rd to the 25th August.
