PREVIEW: Dante’s In- Furlough, The Vaults

This new immersive theatre experience is inspired by  Shel Silverstien’s epic poem ‘Billy Markham and the Devil’ – written for PlayBoy in 1977.

Prepare to take a journey to the underworld in this new immersive experience, now booking from the 15th October until the 30th December.

The Devil is getting hitched! And given what’s going on up here at the moment, there’s no better time to accept their invitation down to the underworld. Join your demonic guide and prove yourself worthy of a seat at the Devil’s table; you’ll need to lie, sin and cheat your way to the party of the millennium. Whatever the circles of Hell have in store for you, you’ll have to beat the Devil at his own game to reach the wedding on time—and avoid losing your soul along the way! Travel solo or with your quarantined dearest, but know that in this interactive show it’s betray or be betrayed. Being bad is so much fun…

This new socially distanced show has plenty of measures to keep audiences safe throughout the experience. Each performance will have only eight attendees each, travelling together throughout but with plenty of space to stand 2m away from other party members not within your bubble. Meanwhile, those guiding audiences around will ensure that plenty of opportunity to keep sufficiently distant from other audience members and performers.

While there will be no foyer space to spend time before or after the show, there will be opportunities to buy drinks during the 90 minute show itself. Booking information will also be retained for track and trace purposes.

Dante’s In-Furlough is a show suitable only for those aged 18 above due to strong language and sexual content.
