It has been confirmed that the smash-hit show will be heading to the West End stage from November, temporarily moving from the Arts Theatre to the Lyric Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue.

It has been announced that Six the Musical will be heading to the Lyric Theatre on Shaftesbury Avenue for a limited 11 week run beginning on Saturday November 14th through to January 31st, 2021 before returning to the Arts Theatre in March for an open ended run.
Simultaneously SIX is announcing that the UK Touring Cast will resume performances in the Lyric Theatre at the Lowry in Salford from Friday November 27, 2020 for a six week Christmas season.
The musical is set to play nine shows a week at the theatre, with capacity at the venue reduced to comply with COVID-19 Secure guidelines for social distancing plus robust risk mitigation. In addition to hand sanitation, face coverings and track and trace, other measures will include contactless tickets, temperature testing and the deep clean and sanitation of the theatre.
The cast for the London production is set to include Jarnéia Richard-Noel, Courtney Bowman, Natalie Paris, Alexia McIntosh, Sophie Isaacs, Danielle Steers, Zara Macintosh, Cherelle Jay, Hana Stewart and Collette Guitart.
Talking about the news SIX producers Kenny Wax, Wendy & Andy Barnes and George Stiles say, ‘Across our two UK productions of SIX we have the opportunity to give work to 100 or so actors, musicians, technicians, stage managers, production managers, costume makers, marketing, press, ticketing and office staff. We accept that with social distancing it is unlikely to be economically viable, but we hope to entertain many thousands of theatregoers who have been starved of live entertainment since March. We hope that opening SIX will help build audience confidence and bring business back to the local economy. We also understand that restarting productions, particularly musicals, remains impossible for most producers for reasons of scale, finance and lack of cancellation insurance. We continue to look forward to the day when social distancing is removed and theatre can play to 100% capacity.”
Six is written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, with direction by Moss and Jamie Armitage. The creative team also includes choreography by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille, set design by Emma Bailey, costume design by Gabriella Slade, lighting design by Tim Deiling, sound design by Paul Gatehouse, musical orchestration by Tom Curran, musical supervision by Joe Beighton, casting by Pearson Casting, associate choreography by Freya Sands, musical direction by Katy Richardson and associate musical direction by Ellie Verkerk.
Six the Musical will run at the Lyric Theatre from the 14th November until the 31st January 2021. Tickets will go on sale on Friday 18th September at 8am.
