Following on from the success of its Summer festival, the VOCES8 Foundation has confirmed details of a Christmas festival.

Taking place from the 1st December until the 6th January, the VOCES8
Foundation and special guests will present a series of fifteen concerts that will be filmed live in VOCES8’s church in the heart of the city and from venues across the world.

The festival is set to be split into two parts. Part one, titled Live From London – Christmas will include ten concerts from the 1st until the 25th December and will feature the Gabrieli’s first Bach concert on Christmas Day. Meanwhile, the second part titled Back for Christmas will include concerts by the Gabrieli Consort & Players – Bach’s Christmas Oratorio BWV248 – starting on 25th December 2020 and ending on
Epiphany, 6th January 2021.

Each concert will feature a different repertoire that will range from Bach, Praetorius, Eccard, Charpentier and Tallis to Howells, Britten, Pärt, Tavener, Michael McGlynn, Ola Gjeilo, and arrangements of best-loved Christmas
pop, all filmed in ultra-high definition and featuring a selection of favourite seasonal A Cappella.

Performances will be provided by VOCES8, the Gabrieli Consort & Players, The Tallis Scholars, Take 6, I Fagiolini, London Adventist Chorale, ANÚNA, amarcord, The Aeolians and Apollo5.

Season tickets start at £80 (Live from London – Christmas) and £50 (Bach for Christmas), with both combined for £120 (Live from London – Christmas EXTRA). Single concert tickets will be available for £12.50. Concessions have been crafted for students and choirs across the world, as well as special deals for promoters and venues. The concerts will be available on-demand until 15th January.
