Given the unusual circumstances of 2020, only 18 productions are eligible for this years’s awards – the nominees of which were revealed in a digital ceremony.

With Broadway set to be closed until June 2021, it means that there will be quite some time before Broadway theatre will be celebrated through the Tony Awards.

As it stands, Jagged Little Pill has the most nominations for a musical for this years awards – with a total of fifteen nominations, Slave Play is close behind with twelve nominations, The Inheritance has eleven nominations and Moulin Rouge has fourteen nominations.
