This newly announced production will feature as part of an ongoing programme at the theatre.

It has been announced that Simon Russell Beale, Patsy Ferran and Eben Figueiredo are set to play all the characters in a new production of A Christmas Carol devised by Nicholas Hytner.

Set to run at the Bridge Theatre from the 27th November until the 16th January 2021, the production will run at 90 minutes long with no interval. Evening performances will take place at 7pm, with matinees at 4pm.

A Christmas Carol will feature set designs by Bunny Christie with costume designs by Rose Revitt who also acts as set design associate. Lighting is by Jon Clark, sound by Gareth Fry, video design is by Luke Halls and music by Grant Olding.

Other productions that have been announced at the venue include ten performances from comedian, writer and director Simon Amstell, who will perform new work at 9pm from the 10th to the 21st November.  

Meanwhile, it has also been confirmed that Yolanda Mercy’s one woman play Quarter Life Crisis will make a return to the theatre from the 10th to the 14th November at 7.15pm. It originally played at the Bridge Theartre as part of its season of one-person plays.  

From the 17th to the 21st November, there will also be five performances of Osman Baig’s Fake News. Directed by Oliver Stephens, it follows the story of a young journalist who publishes a story that isn’t true.
