The news comes as England faces a new month long lockdown.
The Southwark Playhouse has confirmed changes to its programme in light of the recent announcement of a new lockdown for England.
It has been confirmed that the recent revival of The Last Five Years will complete its run at the theatre on the 4th November. However, those wishing to still catch it will be able to via stream.theatre between 26th to 29th November.
The London venue’s upcoming revival of Nick Payne’s Constellations has now pushed back its opening – with new dates yet to be confirmed.
Meanwhile, in-person performances of Philip Ridley’s The Poltergeist will be cancelled but there are still hopes that the show will be live-streamed to virtual audiences.
