It has been confirmed the British musical will be live-streamed for three performances on the 27th and 28th November.

Having run at the Southwark Playhouse last year, Alex James Ellison and Tom Lees’ musical will now be streamed for a limited time at the end of the month.

Nominated for the WhatsOnStage Award for Best Off-West End Musical, and three West End Wilma Awards, winning Best Performer in an Off West End Show (Luke Bayer), Fiver will be performed as a concert. It will feature all of the songs from the 2019 production plus an abridged script and an exclusive performance of a brand new song which Ellison and Lees have written for this concert.

Fiver, follows the story of a humble five pound note as it passes through the hands and pockets of people in London. Often unnoticed and obviously unaware, the fiver is present for significant moments in each person’s life – whether it be an appreciation of their skills as a street performer; the start or end of a relationship; or the simple realisation that they can afford a bed for the night.

Directed by Alex James Ellison and Tom Lees, the cast includes Luke Bayer (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie), Aoife Clesham (Peter Pan), Dan Buckley (Ferris), Hiba Elchikhe (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie) and Alex James  Ellison (The Secret Garden).

The creative team includes musical direction by Tom Lees and set design by Justin Williams.

Fiver will be live-streamed on the 27th and 28th November. For more information visit: https://southwarkplayhouse.co.uk/show/fiver-the-concert/
