Sasha Regan’s production will be playing at the Palace Theatre on the 12th and 13th December.

Casting has been announced for the upcoming West End run of The Pirates of Penzance, directed by Sasha Regan.

Appearing in the production will be: Marc Akinfolarin (Sergeant of Police), Michael Burgen (Samuel), James Chidzey (Ensemble), Leon Craig (Ruth), Tom Duern (Ensemble), Joel Elferink, Matthew Facchino (Ensemble), Lee Greenaway (Connie), Dominic Harbison (Kate), Sam Kipling (Edith), David McKechnie (Major General), Daniel Miles (Ensemble), Alan Richardson (Mabel), Richard Russell Edwards (Isabel), Oliver Savile (Pirate King), Tom Senior (Frederic) and Benjamin Vivian-Jones (Ensemble).

The all-male production based on W. S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan’s piece, originally premiered at the Union Theatre in Southwark a decade ago. It went on to win Best Off-West End production in the 2009 WhatsOnStage Awards. Since then it has visited Wilton’s Music Hall, Rose Theatre Kingston and in Australia.

Meanwhile, the creative team for the production includes  choreography by Lizzi Gee, designs by Robyn Wilson-Owen, music direction by Richard Baker, associate choreographer Lee Greenaway and lighting design by Ben Bull.

The Pirates of Penzance will play at the Palace Theatre on the 12th and 13th December.
