Rehearsal pictures have been released for the Greenwich Theatre’s production set to begin performances on the 18th December.
The theatre is set to welcome audiences back with a stage adaptation of Joan Aiken’s The Wolves of Willoughby Chase. Running until the 10th January 2021, the production is directed by James Haddrell and has been adapted for this production by Russ Tunney.
The Wolves of Willoughby Chase tells the story of two brave and determined girls as they encounter unforgettable characters, take on ferocious wolves and battle through snowy wastelands. Bonnie, Sylvia, and their friend Simon the Goose-boy soon realise that the wolves roaming the forests outside may not be as dangerous as the wolfish adults plotting inside.
The production is set to star Greenwich’s favourite pantomime villain Anthony Spargo as Miss Slighcarp. He will appear alongside Alice De-Warrenne, Cassandra Hercules, Akshay Khanna, Serin Ibrahim and Reice Weathers (The Upstart Crow, Gielgud Theatre).

The Wolves of Willoughby Chase will run at the Greenwich Theatre from the 18th December until the 10th January 2021.
