The London based singer’s new single follows on from her previous releases ‘Silent Voices’ and ‘I Don’t give a Damn’.

It has been announced that Eleni C’s new single is set to be released on the 12th February. Titled ‘Tug of War’, it has been described as being “nurtured with independent optimism created by bold, fierceful and empowering vocals entwined with regular beated rhythms.”

Through it, the song examines how to walk away in a situation that has turned broken and manipulative.

Talking about the song’s meaning, Eleni C said: “Sometimes the hardest thing is to let go of the person that you love the most. We tend to forget that love shouldn’t hurt but if it does we should love ourselves enough to let go.”

At the start of her career, Eleni C was chosen to represent the UK in the International Music Festival where she took first prize in the Best Original Song and Best Female Singer categories. Since then, the singer has been booked for opening acts including Little Mix, Tulisa, Fleur East, Alesha Dixon, Foxes, Little Boots Stooshe, Becky Hill and to perform at the Free Radio Live Concert in the Birmingham NEC Arena, Pride in London and the Westfield Music Cube.

Meanwhile, from this Eleni C has also chosen to merge her love of music with her passion for raising awareness for mental health. To do this, she has completed the first leg of National School Tour to promote positivity and well being through music.
