The online discussion will take place for free at 7pm tonight.

Following on from Netflix’s recent announcement that a second series of Bridgerton has been commissioned, the cast and crew of the show will be taking part in an online discussion tonight as part of the BFI & Radio Time TV Festival.

Based on the books by Julia Quinn, Bridgerton proved to be popular with audiences when the series hit Netflix in December.

The newly announced panel discussion taking place on Youtube and being broadcast globally will be hosted broadcaster Kirsty Lang. She will be joined by series creator Chris Van Dusen, costume designer Ellen Mirojnick and cast members Phoebe Dynevor (Daphne Bridgerton), Rege-Jean Page (Simon Basset), Jonathan Bailey (Anthony Bridgerton), Nicola Coughlan (Penelope Featherington), Claudia Jessie (Eloise Bridgerton), Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte), Adjoa Andoh (Lady Danbury) and  Luke Newton (Colin Bridgerton).

During the online event, the panel will discuss the show’s approach to character and plot, diverse casting, use of contemporary music, the adapting process from Julia Quinn’s hugely popular novels, and the prospect of ‘Bridgerton the Musical’.

The online discussion will be broadcast from 7pm tonight on Youtube here.
