The newly announced season of events includes a new series of ‘Facing the Music’.
The Chichester Festival Theatre has confirmed details of its digital spring season beginning on the 24th February, with the first in a new series of Facing the Music with Patricia Routledge.
Facing the Music is a weekly series, hosted by Edward Seckerson, interviewing popular faces from screen and stage. Others in the line-up are set to include Philip Quast, Imelda Staunton and Giles Terera, while Sheila Hancock’s 2020 interview will also be re-streamed.
Meanwhile, it has also been announced that the theatre’s last Autumn concert Celebrating Sondheim will also be broadcast once again, marking the composer’s 91st birthday on the 22nd March. It will be then available to watch until the 25th March. The concert features performances from Gabrielle Brooks, Daniel Evans, Clive Rowe, Jenna Russell and Hannah Waddingham.
Elsewhere, the theatre will continue to be committed to the community with its weekly online adult community classes as well as a Little Notes music sessions for babies and toddlers, Chichester Festival Youth Theatre sessions, and a new programme of weekly creative workshops for Young Carers.
