A new music video has been released for one of the songs from the new musical.
Written and composed by Jack Miles (St. Anne Comes Home, Iris Theatre), Adeline is a new sung-through musical with a female driven story that explores how to navigate relationships in the 21st century.
The video for the newly released song ‘Stranger Things Have Happened’ sees Luke Bayer (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Soho Cinders) and Aoife Clesham (Fiver, Gretel) performing the song. The pair last performed together in the live-streamed production of Five the Musical.
Set to premiere this Summer, having had its 2020 Edinburgh Fringe Festival run postponed, casting for the upcoming production is set to be announced in the Spring.
Adeline is unfulfilled, frustrated and alone with disappointments forming the basis of her opinions on life. So what happens when she has an extraordinary collision with her delivery man, Ryan, and their paths cross over books, baked goods and broken fingers?
The musical is being produced by Taxi Man Productions, with direction by Anthony Underwood and Lucy Alder. Musical supervision, orchestration, and arrangement is provided by Matt Herbert. The music video for ‘Stranger Things Have Happened’ was filmed and edited by Joe Golby and musical tracks provided by Matt Herbert and Zoe Perkins.
