Marking the one year anniversary since theatres were closed, a new charity single will be released to raise funds for the MAD Covid-19 Emergency relief Fund.

The Make A Difference Trust have announced that the new West End charity single ‘I Dare You’ will be released next week, featuring a host of stars of the West End stage.  

Marking the year anniversary since theatres went dark, the cover of the Kelly Clarkson song is set to feature performances from Amie, Atkinson, Samantha Barks, Sharon D Clarke, Kerry Ellis, Shaun Escoffery, Shanay Holmes, Francesca Jackson, Cassidy Janson, Aisha Jawando, Tosh Wanogho-Maud, Jamie Muscato, Eva Noblezada, Natalie Paris, Jay Perry, Louise Redknapp, Oliver Tompsett, Faye Tozer, Sally Ann Triplett, Rachel Tucker, Marisha Wallace and Layton Williams. Every show that was open on the West End at the time lockdown was announced is represented.

The single is set to raise money for the MAD Covid-19 Emergency relief Fund and is available to presave here. A video will also be made available to watch here.

The track will be released on all streaming platforms and has been produced by Steve Anderson, best known for his work with Kylie Minogue, Westlife, Steps and Leona Lewis.

Arranged by Will Sharma, the song was written by Natalie Henby, Ben West, Jeff Gitelman, Jesse Shatkin, Laura Veltz. The video has been designed by Bruno Collins, with creative direction by David Grewcock.
