It has been announced that the song cycle will be performed at the Apollo Theatre in June.

Scott Alan’s The Distance You Have Come will be heading to the Apollo Theatre for two dates in June – on the 21st and the 28th- it has been confirmed.

Having originally been presented at the Cockpit Theatre, with direction by Scott Alan, the song cycle is set to feature an all star cast including: Andy Coxon (West Side Story, Beautiful – The Carole King Musical); Alice Fearn (Come From Away, Wicked); Adrian Hansel (Starlight Express, Hairspray); Emma Hatton (Evita, Wicked); Dean John-Wilson (Kind and I, Aladdin) and Alexia Khadime (Prince of Egypt, Wicked).

Every day we each make a series of decisions, some big and some small but all that shape our future. We are all on a journey of self-discovery, juggling life, love and loss along the way. We all have to choose the steps we take and will each meet people who will change our path forever.

The Distance You Have Come is made up of some of the composer’s most acclaimed works and leads audiences on a journey through a year of the lives of six people facing the joy and heartache of the human experience whose lives are all intertwined.

Produced by Sevans Productions and Krystal Lee, the production also features original production design by Simon Daw. Meanwhile, orchestrations are by Scott Hayes (Rent; I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change) who will also be the Musical Director, Kirk Jameson joins as Director (I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change; Marry Me a Little; Madagascar) with Lighting Design by Andrew Ellis (Eugenius, Flashdance).
