NEWS: Treason the Musical to Return for Encore Screening

The new musical, which was recorded in a concert performance at the Cadogan Hall will be available to watch again from the 26th to the 28th March.

Following its world premiere and online screening at the Cadogan Hall from the 12th to the 14th March, Treason the Musical returns due to popular demand. It will be available to watch on demand for a limited time from the 26th to the 28th March to allow a larger international audience to watch.

The musical features a score and lyrics by Ricky Allan, with a book by Kieran Lynn and Ricky Allan. It is a historical set musical that is a story of religious persecution and brutality, ending in an ambitious yet fateful plot to bring down both the monarchy and the government – based around the events of the gunpowder plot of 1605.

This concert production features a West End cast which includes  Lucie Jones (Les MisérablesWaitress), Oliver Tompsett (& JulietKinky Boots), Daniel Boys (FalsettosNativity Rocks!), Waylon Jacobs (HamiltonMemphis), Bradley Jaden (Les MisérablesWicked), Emmanuel Kojo (Oklahoma!Show Boat), Rebecca LaChance (School of RockBeautiful), Cedric Neal (ChessMotown), Sharon Rose (HamiltonCaroline Or Change), and alongside the multi-talented poet, writer and performer, Debris Stevenson (Poet in da Corner), as the show’s narrator.

Treason the Musical has been directed by Hannah Chissick, with musical supervision by Nick Pinchbeck and orchestration and additional arrangements by Matthew Malone.

Five songs from the musical are available to listen to through Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music, and a further five new and unheard tracks from the show can also be heard in the online concert.
