The Royal Albert Hall will welcome the show to London for one night only on the 1st June.
With live concerts with an audience beginning to be programmed into calanders, the Royal Albert Hall has confirmed that A Country Night in Nashville will take place at the venue on the 1st June.
Complete with socially distanced seating, the London venue (which has just celebrated its 150th birthday), will celebrate country music and the artists from the past and present who have helped its development. A Country Night in Nashville is a history of country music, featuring hits from Johnny Cash to Kenny Rogers, Dolly to the Dixie Chicks, Willie Nelson to Shania Twain – all performed by Dominic Halpin & The Hurricanes.
Songs that are set to be performed in the concert include: Ring of Fire,Crazy, Follow Your Arrow, It’s Five o’ Clock Somewhere, Need You Now, 9-5, and The Gambler.
Dominic Halpin has an international performing career, sharing the bill with Sir Cliff Richard, Tony Bennett and Emeli Sandé, writing tracks for Hollywood films and TV, and recording his own album in Nashville itself with Elvis Presley’s former drummer. Making up the six-piece ‘Hurricanes’ with an authentic country sound are Shelly Quarmby (vocals), Donna Marie (vocals/keyboard), Ben Wiltshire (bass), Jonathan Price (drums), and Matt Wells (guitar/banjo).
