NEWS: Rose Theatre to Reopen in June

It has been announced that the Rose Theatre in Kingston is set to reopen its doors on the 27th June.

It has been confirmed that the Rose Theatre in Kingston will be welcoming back audiences with a series of summer shows and events from the 27th June.

Following on from three national lockdowns, the theatre is set to reopen with a newly announced programme which is set to include:

Talking about the news, Rose Chief Executive Robert O’Dowd said: “I am very pleased to be able to confirm our summer reopening plans today, following what has been an extraordinarily difficult year for theatre. All of us at the Rose look forward to welcoming back artists and audiences.”

The season of events will also include the return of the UK touring production of Educating Rita and a production of Woke by Apphia Campbell and Meredith Yarbrough. This newly announced season will launch on a socially distanced basis, while the theatre awaits updates on Step 4 of the Government’s roadmap to reopen safely at full capacity.
