The Tony-Award winning actress will replace the previously announced Megan Mullally in the upcoming revival of the musical.

It has been confirmed that Sutton Foster will be reprising her Tony Award winning performance as Reno Sweeney in the upcoming revival of Anything Goes, playing at the Barbican Theatre from the 23rd July.

She will be joining the previously announced Robert Lindsay, Felicity Kendal and Gary Wilmot in the musical, which will be playing until the 17th October. They will be joined by  Samuel Edwards as Billy Crocker, alongside Nicole-Lily Baisden as Hope Harcourt, Carly Mercedes Dyer as Erma and Haydn Oakley as Lord Evelyn Oakleigh.

The production, is set to be directed by Kathleen Marshall, who directed and choreographed the 2011 revival and is set on the SS Americana following the stories of two pairings who are attempting to find love on the sea. It features memorable songs such as “I Get A Kick Out of You”, “You’re the Top”, “It’s De- Lovely!” and “Anything Goes”.

The creative team for the production includes set designer Derek McLane, costume designer Jon Morrell, music supervisor Stephen Ridley and wig designer Campbell Young.

Anything Goes originally premiered on Broadway in 1934, opening in the West End the following year. Previous productions of the musical have starred the likes of Elaine Paige, Bernard Cribbins, Caroline O’Connor, Sutton Foster and Joel Grey. It has also been adapted twice for the cinema and twice won the Tony Award for Best Musical Revival – in both 1988 and 2011.
